Maintains, fabricates and repairs all mechanical equipment in the facility by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Full Time 3 Shifts 8 hour rotation Monday- Friday with opportunites to work Overtime

Hourly Wage $39.97

• Maintains, fabricates and repairs all mechanical components in the facility as required;
• Performs all preventative maintenance, responds to production breakdowns throughout the facility moves and installs standard equipment;
• Dismantles and assembles complicated machines to determine cause of problem;
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices, using precision measuring of testing instruments, micrometers, vaniers and telescopic gauges;
• Lift equipment and heavy moulds using hoisting, cranes and lift trucks;
• Installs new equipment and ensures levelling of equipment and assists supplier with testing;
• Prepares work report at the end of each shift;
• Will participate in any training as required

Ontario Millwright’s Certificate or;

Bonafide apprenticeship or four (4) years of 8,000 hours and has a substantiating certificate; or

Has a Unifor Journeyperson's card; or

Has acquired eight (8) years' trade-ralated experience and/or trade-related formal training and prove same.
