The Die Setter and Schuler Press Set-Up Associate is responsible for die changes and the set-up of all Automatic Press

• Perform required operations to set-up dies and press
• Routinely clean and organize dies
• Mount, align and secure dies, making adjustments as needed
• Removes dies from machines when production runs are finished
• Participate, recommend, and initiate continuous improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent GED level education required
• Metal stamping experience preferred
• Experience in safely setting progressive metal stamping dies, loading steel coils and operating stamping presses preferred
• Must be able to properly use measuring instruments; micrometer, digital caliper, radius gauges, pin gauges, feeler gauges, fixture go/no go gauges, etc.
• Previous experience operating forklift, overhead crane and other industrial machinery preferred
