Scope of the Position

Flex-Ion seeks a formation and test engineer at the Battery Innovation Center to evaluate cells produced on pilot line. The position involves close collaboration with research leads, electrode process lead and cell assembly team to deliver world class performance. The ideal candidate is hard-working, self-motivated and detail oriented. Position requires an engineering technical degree and/or experience in battery development field.

Responsibilities

Candidate will lead lithium-ion battery cell formation and characterization testing. Role requires hands-on work and close collaboration with engineering and manufacturing. Candidate will assist in developing battery cell formation schedule, lead performance testing and data analysis. Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or chemical engineering preferred for position.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent.

Background in electrical systems and testing.

Organized and result-driven.

Excellent written and verbal communication.
