Scope of the Position:

Scope of the Position: You will be responsible for supervision of troubleshooting, maintaining and debugging auto polishers, hand jacks and robots, programming robots, continuous improvements and production support.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform weld process studies and use data to improve the weld process resulting in cost savings
  • Monitors weld processes
  • Carry out all maintenance and adjustments to equipment
  • Collects data and uses data to improve weld processes
  • Provide engineered solutions to weld process problems
  • Establish training criteria and train weld department personnel
  • Involvement in kaizen activities to develop process improvements for scrap, changeovers, pcs/hr., and overtime
  • Adjust Assembly/Weld Equipment to comply with customer welding and dimensional specifications, to provide a quality part to manufacturing at the required production rates
  • The electro/mechanical adjustment, maintenance and cleanliness of all plant Weld/Assembly Equipment and work areas on a day-to-day basis.

  • Robotic arc weld experience and have practical knowledge of arc and resistance weld theory.

  • Dedication-good work ethic

  • Good attendance required and works in a safe manner

  • Detail-oriented and well organized and able to manage a variety of activities with minimum supervision.

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, and able to communicate across all levels of organization.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Metal Stamping, facility and equipment maintenance.
  • Robotic experience and have practical knowledge of arc and resistance weld theory
  • Must have hands-on experience in Jigs and Fixtures design and construction
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Blue print reading
